Presented below are a selection of painterly, poetic, non-linear video narratives created by myself and fellow collaborators. The films showcased are experimental, minimal and complex. The body of work intertwines video, performance and installation. They are films that respond to the history or culture of a specific location or concept.

The relationship between time, art history, time-based media and painting are key themes in my work. The films explore practice and theory and often incorporate the female body. An emotive ambience is created through the visceral painterly language of line, colour and form. The relationship between artist moving image and painting is researched with many of the videos shot from a single focus point but with slight variations in regards to time. The slowing down of the films draw out the poetics, a technique that I have repeatedly been drawn to. Without giving too much away the audience is left to interpret the artworks by themselves.
